Day 1, Sunday, May 22                     Approximate travel distance: 142 km

 

Calgary                        4pm     15:15 arrives from AC849. After clearing customs and                                                                  immigration, Jac Guide to meet group.

                                              

                                                Depart via Golden Arrow 56 passenger coach, charter                                                            65101/76017, telephone 780 447-1538 on an orientation tour                                                           of Calgary with views of the Olympic Centre before travelling                                                     through the foothills of the Canadian Rockies into Banff                                                          National Park.

 

Banff                                        Upon arrival, enjoy a short tour of Banff including a stop at the                                              super market, before arriving at the Banff Inn by                                                                    approximately 18:30

 

                                               Check in to hotel.

Day 2, Monday, May 23

                                               tour of Banff National Park.

 

                                               Highlights include the Banff town site, Surprise Corner, Tunnel                                                           Mountain Drive, the hoodoos, Moraine Lake, Lake Louise, the                                                 Great Divide, Yoho National Park, Banff Gondola (not                                                                      included), etc., before returning to the hotel in the late                                                          afternoon.

 

                                               Remainder of afternoon and evening at leisure.

                                               Depart via Golden Arrow Coach Lines for a sightseeing transfer

                                               to Jasper, travelling along the Icefields Parkway to the                                                                       Columbia Icefield.

 

                                               Highlights to include Bow Lake, Athabasca Falls, Sunwapta                                                     Falls, Patricia Lake, etc., before arriving at the Jasper Inn

Day 4, Wednesday, May 25              Approximate travel distance: 452km

 

Jasper                          07:30   Breakfast at the Chateau Jasper - Buffet.

 

                                               Depart via Golden Arrow Coach Lines for a sightseeing transfer                                              to Sun Peaks.

                                              

                                               Travel into the Province of British Columbia through Mount                                                     Robson Provincial Park and then head south along Highway 5,                                                            following the Thompson River to Wells Gray Park and                                                             Clearwater before arriving at the Sun Peaks Lodge
